Locon Diagnostic & Repair Services
We service and repair Locon FM8 and related systems and components, including severely damaged and defective units. Our services for the Locon FM8 include diagnostic evaluation, troubleshooting, component and board level repair, as well as complete rebuilding of the FM8 if necessary. Expedited handling of our evaluations and repairs are included as a standard service for all our clients. All our FM8 repairs include a 1 year warranty, covering both parts and labor.

Winter 2025 Update: Since December 2023 the supply chain strictures have fortunately eased, with less stress on product delivery due dates. Our teams at YORK XPS have been able to ramp up our service response times with expedited shipment schedules back to normal, providing replacement parts and services following normal response times. Our departments are now working on near-normal production levels and our delivery and service schedules back to regular operation levels. Expanded Service and Repair Support for New Product Lines: We offer full support for discontinued Losma products, including obsoleted and phased-out L-tec parts and systems, as well as the all-new for 2023 Lsis product line-up. Starting Q1 2025 YORK is pleased to announce additional repair and rebuild services for the automation products made by industrial controls leader Losma such as the GUARD10 spares. Related to this we have added to our service line-up the PT121 manufactured by L-tec and we are pleased to be able to service most L-tec systems and parts. Due to increased demand we now feature XP40 by Manufacturer Lsis as well.
York Scientific's New & Featured Automation Replacement Parts: Starting early January 2025 YORK has Magnetek Brand GPD506VB004 in stock, original and quality replacement parts available for immediate dispatch to meet your requirement for spare replacements. Spare units by Loyola such as DPAC3S480166 equipment made by Loyola have been added to our featured items. As a tip, you can find the entire Loyola products line-up in our inventory by simply searching for "Loyola" in the search box. Additionally we have now also available DCUST made by Lundahl as well as the popular METEOR2MC original spares produced by Matrox
Servo Motors, Spindles, and Electric Motors Rewinding and Rebuilding. We have expanded capacity at our service centers to do complete overhauls of industrial electric motors and spindles. Refurbishment processes are held to stringent QA standards to adhere to or exceed manufacturer's specifications. Overhauls include motor bearing replacement, stator rewinding, and rebalancing. Additional overhaul and rebuilding capabilities of products such as the S8211 by Lucas-Ledex and DPAC3S480166 spares by Loyola are also now also our York Scientific's line-up of service offerings. This also includes the original PLC200 Spares made by industrial controls and automation manufacturer Marsilli.
