Melec Diagnostic & Repair Services
We service and repair Melec D-5500 and related systems and components, including severely damaged and defective units. Our services for the Melec D-5500 include diagnostic evaluation, troubleshooting, component and board level repair, as well as complete rebuilding of the D-5500 if necessary. Expedited handling of our evaluations and repairs are included as a standard service for all our clients. All our D-5500 repairs include a 1 year warranty, covering both parts and labor.

Winter 2025 Update: Since December 2023 the supply chain strictures have fortunately eased, with less stress on product delivery due dates. Our teams at YORK XPS have been able to ramp up our service response times with expedited shipment schedules back to normal, providing replacement parts and services following normal response times. Our departments are now working on near-normal production levels and our delivery and service schedules back to regular operation levels. Expanded Service and Repair Support for New Product Lines: We offer full support for discontinued Robohand products, including obsoleted and phased-out Schneider parts and systems, as well as the all-new for 2023 Parker product line-up. Starting Q1 2025 YORK is pleased to announce additional repair and rebuild services for the automation products made by industrial controls leader Robohand such as the X2020502 spares. Related to this we have added to our service line-up the XCSZP7012 manufactured by Schneider and we are pleased to be able to service most Schneider systems and parts. Due to increased demand we now feature 250dsrm400 by Manufacturer Parker as well.
York Scientific's New & Featured Automation Replacement Parts: Starting early January 2025 YORK has Rotac Brand 662VOIL in stock, original and quality replacement parts available for immediate dispatch to meet your requirement for spare replacements. Spare units by Sumitomo such as NT20142A2 equipment made by Sumitomo have been added to our featured items. As a tip, you can find the entire Sumitomo products line-up in our inventory by simply searching for "Sumitomo" in the search box. Additionally we have now also available U90002001BCG08 made by Sumitomo as well as the popular MDSASPJA75RT original spares produced by Mitsubishi
Servo Motors, Spindles, and Electric Motors Rewinding and Rebuilding. We have expanded capacity at our service centers to do complete overhauls of industrial electric motors and spindles. Refurbishment processes are held to stringent QA standards to adhere to or exceed manufacturer's specifications. Overhauls include motor bearing replacement, stator rewinding, and rebalancing. Additional overhaul and rebuilding capabilities of products such as the SDDW30D750W11 by Sinfonia and NT20142A2 spares by Sumitomo are also now also our York Scientific's line-up of service offerings. This also includes the original SLR10H4803 Spares made by industrial controls and automation manufacturer Sola.
